Character and story details, including an official synopsis, regarding Far Cry 4 have been posted on Uplay.

The move appears to have been unintended, as Ubisoft has since pulled the page, but you can read what they wrote down below.

“Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.

“Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story. Welcome to Kyrat.”

Far Cry 4 was revealed last week, along with some story details and its box art. It is set to be released on November 18 in North America and November 20 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

E3 is right around the corner, so we’re hoping to hear more very soon.
