Bethesda has confirmed that there will be no previous-gen port for its upcoming title Fallout 4.
Concerns that the game may be scaled back in an attempt to launch a previous-gen console version have been put to rest. Matt Grandstaff, Bethesda global community lead, said in a forum post “It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we’re doing will never work there.”
This means that the game will be developed in a way to make maximum use out of the faster hardware in current gen consoles, so rest assured that Bethesda won’t be cutting any corners to make a few extra dollars.
Fallout 4 will have a world premier at E3 on Sunday, June 14th at 7:00pm PT.
