Square Enix has unveiled a new trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, to mark the opening day of Paris Game Week.
The new trailer, which you can view below, shows off a bit more of the world of Orience, which is embroiled in “turbulent war of nations [that] threatens to tear the land apart”.
Set to be released March 20, 2024 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is an overhauled version of the Japan-exclusive PSP game. Type-0 originally began life as Final Fantasy Agito XIII: part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis collection of titles.
Final Fantasy Type-0, as it was later renamed, is known for its long development history. Since the game’s release in Japan back in 2011, many fans pleaded with Square Enix to to Western shores. The pleas originally fell on deaf ears, and many had given up hope of a localized version until the publisher finally announced earlier this June that their prayers had been answered.
