Frontier Developments has today released a new trailer for their in-development sequel to the classic Elite franchise.
The trailer, which you can watch below, takes the form of a tutorial, informing players of how to successfully dock at a space station. Manual docking in the series has always been a notoriously tricky affair, requiring players to precisely align their ship with the docking ports; many a Sidewinder was smashed to bits against their walls, eliciting much cursing.
Elite: Dangerous is in ongoing development, following a highly successful Kickstarter campaign that ended last year and saw the developer receive over £1.5 million. The latest installment in the iconic series will see players inhabiting the same universe - a first for the series - in what promises to be yet another landmark entry for the genre. It’s also rather pretty, which helps matters.
