The first story trailer for the Wii U title Xenoblade Chronicles X features a conflict between humans and some kind of alien force. There is a pseudo manifest-destiny mentality of conquering worlds, having previously lost the Earth. The trailer ends with the omenous words “humanity should be wiped out of existence!”
It’s unclear exactly how similar of different this world will be from the previous Xenoblade Chronicles game, although there is a glimpse of a Nopon at the tail end of the trailer.
