Nintendo has released a trailer for Super Smash Bros that confirms Namco’s iconic character Pac-man will be fighting right alongside the likes of Mario and Sonic. Perhaps Pac-man’s inclusion is not surprising given that Bandai Namco are actually behind the development of the 3DS version.
In addition, a smattering of screens for the 3DS version of the game were also released - they include the recently confirmed Goddess of Light Palutena from the Kid Icarus series.
We know that the developer is targeting a 60FPS frame rate with 3D effects enabled. In addition the Mii Fighter feature, that was demoed for the Wii U version of the game, will also be included in the 3DS game.
The 3DS version of Super Smash Bros will be released for the 3DS on October 3 for $39.99, ahead of the Wii U version which still has no firm release date.
