A few days ago, Ubisoft announced that they will be releasing Tetris Ultimate on a variety of platforms. While the game will feature the classic puzzle mode that people all over the world have come to love over the last 30 years, it will also feature five other modes. While they don’t bring much new to the table, modes like Endless and Power-Up Battle have certifiably proven their worth in the past, and Ultra (in which you try to get the highest score possible in three minutes) looks to be a great source of competition.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of Tetris Ultimate is that the game can capture your friends’ playstyles and recreate them for you to play against, even when they’re offline.
Ubisoft also provided us with several screenshots of Tetris Ultimate that showcase the game’s many modes and sleek design.
PS Vita, Xbox One, and PS4 owners will be able to get their hands on Tetris Ultimate some time this summer. Unfortunately, PC gamers who want to clear some lines and flex on the leaderboards will have to wait until the Fall.
