Techland has recently announced that there highly anticipated action survival game, Dying Light will be moved up to an earlier release date than anticipated. The game is set to be available in stores early next year: January 27 in the US, January 28 in Australia and New Zealand, and January 30 in Europe and Asia.

You can preorder the game today from the game’s official website or on Steam. The preorder includes a free DLC mode called Be the Zombie, in which you play as a zombie type called the Night Hunter, and allows you to enter other players’ games and stalk them through the dark. The Night Hunter is unique compared to the average enemies you’ll be encountering in the game, as this one is much more agile, fast, and deadly.

As in normal gameplay, when playing as a zombie you can utilize Techland’s Natural Movement system in which parkour and combat are seamlessly integrated.

You can watch the dev diary below, where the developers go into full depth and detail regarding the innovation they have put into their Natural Movement system and how it plays into Dying Light.

I am an anime geek, JRPG fan and I love stealth games. You won't want to play me online, because I'll be the guy killing you from behind or sniping you across the map. That's just how I roll. And chicken is my kryptonite.
