Square Enix has announced a gaggle of DLC for Drakengard 3 that focuses on the “Intoners”.

The Goddess-like Intoners are a key part of the Drakengard ethos - the peace of Drakengard‘s world hinges on their magical finesse in song. This is especially true of Drakengard 3 - a prequel to the 2004 original - as it covers the the betrayal of the oldest of the six goddess sisters, Zero.

The biggest DLC announcement is the chapters known as the Sister Prologues, which place players in the role of Zero, Two, Three, Four or Five in a playable level that must be cleared using the goddesses unique weapons. Each of these chapters will be going for $5.99 and come with their own trophy list - with the exception of Two’s chapter which has no trophies. Alternatively the chapters can be bought at a slight discount of $29.99 should you spring for the Sister Prologue Bundle.

Two in-game item DLC announcements were also made:

Furiae’s Garb: The costume of the princess turned goddess, Furiae, from the original Drakengard (pictured above), it reduces damage taken by 5% when equipped ($2.99)

Eris’s Garb: The garment of the youngest military commander in Drakengard 2 prevents stamina loss when guarding ($2.99)

Finally an alternative divine music selection for Zero:

Intoner Arrange Tracks: A new music pack that replaces the tracks used when Zero enters Intoner Mode ($1.99)

We are unsure why Two’s prologue has no trophy list of it’s own at this point in time. In any case you can find out for yourself today as all the aforementioned DLC is out now.
