Diablo III has been out on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 since September last year, but the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have yet to be graced by Blizzard’s action role-playing hack and slash game. In fact, console gamers haven’t even had a chance to play the expansion Diablo III: Reaper of Souls yet. But that imbalance is going to rectified - Blizzard has announced that Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition (no seriously, that’s what they’re calling it) will be released on August 19th. The package features Diablo III Acts I-IV and the expansion Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
Those that pre-order will get access to the in-game item ‘Infernal Pauldrons’, shoulder plates that are wearable at level 1 and grant the wearer bonuses to Vitality, Life per Second and Cooldown Reduction. If that sounds like something you’re interested in you can pre-order today, $39.99 for the PS3/360 versions or $59.99 for the PS4/XBO versions.
It all sounds truly…diabolical. Fortunately the the expansion itself is anything but, we scored it a 9/10 on our PC review for fixing many of our shortcomings with the original Diablo III.
