In a surprise announcement made during a Japan Gamer’s Live event over the weekend, Team Ninja chief, Yosuke Hayashi, revealed that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is set for release in Europe for Spring 2015 on both the current and last generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
The game will be a representation of the best and brightest moments from the Dead or Alive 5 series, with additional content that can only be accessed in this edition, promising the most comprehensive Dead or Alive experience to date. Taking the signature fighting style of Dead or Alive games into the ring, with the largest roster of fighters seen in the series to date, the game is said to present an unparalleled level of life-like detail which - along with dynamic interactive stages and more than 300 customization options - helps to truly place players in the heat of the moment.
“Dead or Alive 5: Last Round marks an exciting step forward for the franchise, and one that fans have been asking for,” said Hayashi in a statement. “Bringing the game to a new generation of consoles is allowing us to create the most graphically striking version of any Dead or Alive game ever, and we are very happy to give our fans the chance to experience our signature high energy fighting entertainment as only the latest consoles can deliver it.”
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is set for release in Spring 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
