Get ready to fill up your estus flask, as Bandai Namco and From Software has revealed details about their upcoming DLC season pass for Dark Souls 2, entitled The Lost Crowns Trilogy.

As fans make their way back to Drangleic they will be able to explore new areas as they search for the lost crown of King Vendrick in the first chapter entitled Crown of the Sunken King. New areas will feature underground caverns with large stepped pyramids, housing new creatures that guard the crown. FromSoftware also promises new boss encounters and challenges for players seeking a greater Dark Souls II experience.

The Lost Crowns Trilogy season pass goes on sale today on both Steam and PlayStation Network with Crown of the Sunken King being released on July 22, followed shortly by Crown of the Old Iron King on August 26 and Crown of the Ivory King on September 23. It would seem at this time that there is no season pass available for Xbox 360 owners, and instead they will have to purchase each expansion individually.

From Software has also released a brand new trailer for the DLC, showing off new locations. So get ready to die all over again as you traverse the new realms of Drangleic in search for the crown of the kings. Lets hope they hit those release dates.

We rather liked Dark Souls 2, scoring it 8/10 in our review of the game, concluding that “despite its faults, Dark Souls 2 is still likely to be one of the best games released this year. It’s engrossing, it has plenty of replay value, and there’s likely plenty of secrets locked away in its depths waiting to be uncovered; but if From Software was hoping to top Dark Souls, they still have some way to go.”
