Black Ops 2 has been leaked online, only eight days before it launches worldwide.
It’s that time of year again when the industry stands still and waits with bated-breath for the release of the highest grossing game of the year, Call of Duty.
With each year, comes a xerox of news: “Something, something, controversy”, “Breaks box office records”, “Baaaaaw! I want Bad Company 3!!!!” and of course: “Call of Duty: [insert iteration here] gets leaked a week ahead of launch”.
Back in 2009, FPS fans were desperate to see whether Infinity Ward could recapture the magic they witnessed with the first Modern Warfare, when lo and behold, MW2 suddenly leaks online!
Oh noes!
A year later saw Hooked Gamers reveal that the first Black Ops title has been ‘stolen’ and a leak is imminent.
Double noes!

Fast-forward to the here-and-now, and Black Ops 2 leaks, with only eight days to go until launch.
Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar has been quick to act, tweeting: “If you are going to live-stream the game early, which I don’t remotely recommend, you could at least be good at it. :P”, before following up with “I’m really glad people are excited for the game. Legit streams coming up later this week and early next. Watch this space.”
