Cliff Bleszinski, who is known for working on titles such as Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, has officially announced the name of his new game studio: Boss Key Productions.
Bleszinski left Epic Games two years ago, stating he needed a break from game development. Now that he is out of retirement, everyone is wondering what he’ll be working on first.
According to rumors, the game is he working on is titled “Project Bluestreak.” Regarding the rumor, Bleszinski told Polygon “I do not comment on rumors and speculation on the birthday of the nation that could allow a game designer to have a fantastic 20-year run at his first studio and then take nearly two years off only to seek out funding and start his new lean, agile, fun startup in Raleigh, N.C.”
In April, Bleszinski filed a report for Boss Key Productions with the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State. He listed himself as CEO, while Arjan Brussee, who is known for co-founding Guerrilla Games - makers of Killzone - was listed as the COO. The two have worked together previously - Brussee assisted Bleszinski on co-developing the Jazz Jackrabbit series back in the 90s.
Not much else is known, but Cliff Bleszinski has said that more will be revealed soon.
