Have you ever wanted to spend the day as a mischievous cat? Well now you can destroy all that your human masters hold dear as Catlateral Damage has been successfully funded on Kickstarter in a short 10 days. This stylistic cat simulator is the brain child of independent developer Chris Chung who today announced in celebration that his campaign had met the funding goal.
With two weeks still left in the campaign Chung has now released the stretch goals for his “pet” project, and he also announced that should these be met he’s got plenty more in store for fans. The new stretch goals include new bonus levels such as a Supermarket($48K), a Museum($56K), and a Pet Shop($85K) for you explore and create cat-like destruction in. There are also goals set to include Steam Workshop($70K) integration with an extensive level generator tool for user generated content and sharing capabilities. The final stretch goal set at $100K is to create a PlayStation 4 version of the game with an expected due date six months after the initial Steam/OUYA release.
There are still plenty of rewards left – including forcing Chung to adopt cats - and quite a lot of buzz swarming around this game as the internet does not hide the fact that it loves cats.
