Fans of the classic point-and click-adventure genre and fellow iPhone/iPad users can now rejoice! Broken Sword developer Revolution Software has announced that the long-awaited release of Broken Sword 5 - The Serpent’s Curse: Episode 2 (the concluding episode in the two-part adventure) is now available for iOS devices as an In-App Purchase.
“We are very proud of the way that the game plays on iOS,” said Revolution founder Charles Cecil in a press release issued today. “On its release, the game reached #1 in many countries including the UK, France and Germany and exceptional customer ratings indicate the popularity of the games amongst adventure fans. Episode Two ramps up the level of drama, as the adventure bursts out from Paris and London, taking the player on to stunning locations throughout Spanish Catalonia and to deepest Iraq, the birthplace of civilization.”
Broken Sword 5 – The Serpent’s Curse: Episode 2 is out now for iOS for the price of £3.99 / $5.99 / €5.49.
