Sega has revealed that Alien: Isolation will run at 1080p on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
“Happy to confirm that the game will run in 1080p on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!,” the publisher said in a tweet.
Gary Napper, senior designer at Creative Assembly, said in a interview with Total Xbox “… When I think about working on the game, it’s almost platform agnostic because I only think about the differences between platforms and the different mechanics we can use, like the light on the PS4 pad and the stuff with Kinect 2.0.”

Neither Sega or Creative Assembly confirmed if the game will run at 1080p natively, but they replied to a fan question saying “Right now, we’re definitely aiming for native 1080p.”
Alien: Isolation will be released on October 7 worldwide on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
