Creative Assembly has announced that Alien: Isolation will be released on October 7th, 2014. Releasing on five formats - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the game places players in the shoes of Amanda Ripley - daughter of the films’ protagonist, Ellen Ripley. Your goal is to explore the derelict space station Sevastopol and retrieve the black box from the Nostromo, the ship from the first film.
You’re not alone though - an Alien happens to be on board the station with you and is stalking the environment. Without any means to kill it, you’ll need to tread carefully and hide from sight if you want to survive.
