2K teases Bioshock news

2K has taken to twitter to hint at an upcoming Bioshock announcement.

Posting an image of an advert inviting people to “Come bite the apple!” at Eve’s Garden in Poseidon Plaza - a familiar area in the underwater city of Rapture - the publisher asked “Oooo, what COULD this mean?!”

Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite were developed by Irrational under the leadership of Ken Levine. Irrational has since closed down, with Levine taking 15 staff members with him to instead focus on smaller titles. Bioshock 2, meanwhile, was developer by 2K Marin, which has also since been closed following the commercial failure and lukewarm critical reception of The Bureau: XCom Declassified.

We last visited Andrew Ryan’s fallen utopia in the Burial at Sea DLC for Bioshock Infinite, which was rather good.
