Murdered: Soul Suspect Dev Closes Doors

In a series of seemingly never-ending studio closures, Murdered: Soul Suspect developer Airtight Games has closed, just weeks after their latest release. While Murdered: Soul Suspect was met with mixed reviews, Airtight Games has been around for over a decade, and has also created well-received titles such as Dark Void and Quantum Conundrum.

The studio has suffered a number of setbacks this year, from the laying off of 14 employees to losing Portal developer Kim Swift to Amazon Game Studios in April.

It’s always disheartening to see game developers lose their jobs, in an industry known for its instability in the workplace. Hopefully the former employees of Airtight Games will bounce back and find alternative employment, although as of yet there is no official word or mention of the closure from the developer’s website.
