Deathwatch: Tyranid Invasion, the latest in a long line of  Warhammer universe games, is headed for iOS devices in summer 2015 courtesy of Rodeo Games. Utilizing Unreal Engine 4, the game is set on the edge of known Imperial space, where Space Marines must engage the Tyranids in a series of tactical missions.

Battles have been promised “from war ravaged cities, to the insides of Tyranid bio-ships”, as players lead their team of Space Marines through 40 campaign missions that feature a growing threat level.

The group of Space Marines under your control are a special operatives team called Deathwatch, who specialize in fighting alien threats. Deathwatch includes both a single-player campaign and the option of four-player multiplayer, where you’ll be able to use your characters leveled up from the single player mission.

“We had no experience with Unreal Engine before we started work on this project, but we were able to incorporate it into our company quickly,” Rodeo technical director Rich Brooks said to GameSpot.

“It has been a joy to work with over the last year and it has allowed a small team like us to produce a high quality finished product on mobile.”

Daniel Horowitz

Daniel doesn't just play and write about games, but he also writes his own comics. He can usually be found arguing with Dale about who the best member of the X-Men is (it's Jamie Madrox, obviously)
