Voice Actor of Dragon Age’s Alistair Interviewed by BioWare

Dragon Age alistair

Fan-favorite King of Ferelden Alistair will officially be making an appearance in Dragon Age Inquisition, and to commence actor Steve Valentine’s return to the franchise, BioWare’s Community Manager and self-described Alistair Lover Jessica Merizan has posted an interview with Valentine about his experience with the fans of Dragon Age.

During the interview, Merizan jokingly ‘swoons’ over Valentine, who has a few choice quotes from the interview including the following:

They know, you guys know, every single line. I don’t, so when stuff gets quoted at me, I have to kind of assume it’s a line in the game and kind of laugh and go with it.

Looks like fans know Alistar’s lines much better than Valentine, but his voice is so distinctive that he also says that people recognize him instantly on the street just from his voice.

Besides for his work as Alistar, Valentine is best known for his role as Harry Flynn in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and as Nigel Townsend on NBC’s crime drama Crossing Jordan.

Daniel doesn't just play and write about games, but he also writes his own comics. He can usually be found arguing with Dale about who the best member of the X-Men is (it's Jamie Madrox, obviously)
