Batman: Arkham Knight – new trailer and screens Arise

It’s no secret that we’re looking forward to Batman: Arkham Knight, even dreaming up which villains we’d like to see in the first current generation Batman game. After all, we need something to wash down the terrible aftertaste of the poor Batman: Arkham Origins.

Today we got our first glimpse of the what appears to be the in-engine footage along with a small selection of screenshots. These aren’t the first screenshots we’ve gotten but they do appear to be less glossy and perhaps more representative of the final product than anything we’ve seen before.

The trailer shows off the Batmobile (drivable in game) as Batman races to thwart Scarecrow, the mastermind who has united series’ villains including Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn and more.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime later this year.
